  1. OS is a text file entitled "The Operating System of the Atari ST" by
  2. John Ogawa (dated May 19, 1987).  This article, while dated (after
  3. all, it is from 1987!) is an attempt to describe the workings of the
  4. Atari ST's operating system.  The author says that he is not an ST
  5. wizard, and that any information in this document was gained through
  6. reading non Atari documentation, playing with the ST, and talking to
  7. people.  In other words, it may not be right! But maybe it is.  Who
  8. knows?  Not me for sure!  But it is an interesting look at the
  9. history and workings of the Atari TOS.
